HiTech Motorsport offers a specialist performance and motorsport engine building service. We have built race and championship winning engines for everything from Mini Seven to Formula Ford and Targa to NZV8's. We have also built some of New Zealand's toughest performance engines – 500 plus KW turbo 4 and 6 cylinder Japanese engines are commonplace here.
We specialise in most Japanese performance engines, and have experience with building and modifying most engines from Subaru, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan and Honda
We have a huge amount of knowledge and experience with the older Ford four cylinder engines, for both race and road, Kent pre crossflow and crossflow, Lotus twin cam, Ford BDA and Cosworth. More have experience with the newer Zetec and Duratec engines too. We stock and sell parts of these engines too.
Subaru’s EJ20 and EJ25 are another engine we specialise in, and have built many high power Ej20 and 25 engines. We carry a range of parts to service and rebuild the EJ engines and our workshop has a range of specialist equipment to rebuild and service this family of engines.
