Hitech Motorsport can handle all your motorsport and race preparation, both modern and classic/historic motorsport preparation including rebuilds and restoration of classic motorsport vehicles

We have a fully equipped workshop at our Drury facility. Our team is headed by experienced race engineer Grady Homewood. His knowledge and skills are in high demand and several top teams and drivers contract Grady to engineer and set up their vehicles. An aircraft engineer by trade his attention to detail and meticulous preparation ensure your car will be in safe hands.

Between Grady and our experienced team, they have amassed a huge amount of experience and knowledge of race car construction and preparation expertise. We pride ourselves on ensuring all our customers vehicles are maintained and prepared to an extremely high standard.

We have a reputation for building, preparing and maintaining reliable, safe, and above all, fast competition cars. We offer full preparation services and have experience with most classes competing on New Zealand circuits. In fact in most classes we have competitors either winning or racing for wins on a regular basis.

Our championship successes include many race and championship wins in NZV8's, Pro7 and Pro7 plus, New Zealand and North/South Island endurance championships , SS2000, Tranzam, Targa, GTRNZ, V8 Utes, Arrow wheels/AES classics, Historics.

  • Shane Blucher NZ Superlap Pro street class winner 2020 - Subaru WRX

  • Lachlain Fitzgerald Symes/John McIntyre/Matt Penney North Island and NZ endurance class 2, 3 hour champion 2019
  • Dennis Running 2018/19 New Zealand Tranzam challenge champion

We have a dedicated flat pad with corner weight scales and specialist alignment and set up gear. This enables us to give you an edge over the opposition by having a properly set up race car that will out handle the opposition. We are able to quickly and easily identify any set up issues and rectify them before you get to the track, meaning you don't waste valuable testing time chasing problems.

In addition to our workshop service, we can provide track side support, event management and engineering services to our customers, and our staff attend most race meetings to provide help and advice to our customers.

Our preparation and maintenance expertise coupled with our dyno and tuning knowledge and race engine experience, plus our fully equipped fabrication bay ensures our customers have access to one of the best one stop race preparation shops in New Zealand.
